Women of all types of faith who need encouragement from each other. All women have life journeys...and each journey has mountains and valleys. It is by sharing these journeys that women really do help each other. God's in control and we just muddy up things from time to time! He must have really gotten a few laughs and tears about some of my journeys---but through it all, He has never left me.

Over 3 years since a post?
I have had several people ask why I was no longer posting. Honestly, I was bitten by the popularity of Myspace for blogging and then when Facebook became the newest form of staying in touch with friends, I followed and left Myspace and Blogspot behind. It was just the other day that I was pondering how "bored and over it" I am on Facebook. That was the beginning of the "stir" in my soul. I began questioning my process of becoming "bored and stagnant" in each of society's popular communication platforms.
I began to evaluate the process and learning that there were other areas in my life that the waters used to run so swiftly and full of life that now were a little more stagnant. The rivers were still there, but somewhere I have alowed "beavers of life" to dam up the flow of the life of the rivers of my life. We all have these "beavers" they just have different names. Some carry the names of daily "to do's" , work, chores and life's unexpected bumps and bruises. They are not excuses, it is just somewhere in the fog they began to dam up our river of life. Our priorities get shifted and before we know it the inspirational river flow becomes stagnant. For me it did. It is not that I have strayed from God. I just found myself not dancing with him as much as before. Some christians call this "seasons of a christian life." I just know that it is time for me to start dancing in the rain more with the Lord. It is time for the rains to pour, the dam to be removed and allow my river to flow with life again.
So, one step at a time I am removing the things that makes up the dam in my river. And I am back..posting, sharing and loving the dance of the river that flows through my life.
